Scott Richard Skilling
July 29, 1951 — March 25, 2009
Scott R. Skilling, 57, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009, after a long illness.
He is survived by his daughter, Annie Skilling and her significant other, Jerry Kreeb, of Cedar Rapids; his son, Jordan Skilling and fiancé, Jessica Blazek of Burlington; his mother, Marilyn Willhelmi Skilling; brother, Kirk and wife, Pam; sister, Amy Skilling Gray, and husband Mike of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Skilling; grandparents; uncles, Edward Skilling and wife, Jeannie, and Richard Wilhelmi and wife, Mary.
Scott was a long time member of IBEW Local 405. His interests included fishing, geneology, travel, and sky diving.
There will be no services; however the family will greet friends, 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion.
