Sandra Dianne Longerbeam, 64, of 1301 8th Street, died Thursday, July 10, 2003, in her daughter?s home in Marion, following a long illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2003, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion, by the Rev. Jay Miller. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Surviving are her children, Deanna (Ed) Campbell of Marion and Richard "Butch? (Carol) Longerbeam of Marion; two brothers, Kenneth (Suzanne) Campbell of Marion and Ronald (Rosemond) Campbell) of Marion; three sisters, Iona Hrdlicka of Marion, Barbara Nibeck of Cedar Rapids and Connie (Don) Lochner of Marion; her mother-in-law, Marian Longerbeam Thiher of Lisbon; brother-in-law, Lynn Longerbeam of Wautaga, Texas; and two sisters-in-law, Linda (Don) Magnuson of Marion and Annamae Baker of Mt. Vernon.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Debbie, Brian, Nick, Lydia, Jimmy, Jesse and Lacie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother, Vernon.

Sandra was born the daughter of Melvin R. and Lauretta W. Baker Campbell on April 21, 1939, Cedar Rapids. On February 10, 1961, at Springville she was united in marriage to Richard D. Longerbeam Sr. He died July 23, 1999. Sandra worked in the marketing room at Arlan?s Clothing Store and Killian?s Department store. She previously had worked at Collins Radio.

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family. She is greatly loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

A memorial fund has been established in Sandra?s memory.
