Sandra Kay Bowers, 76, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Harmony House in Waterloo. Private Family Services will be held. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Manchester assisted the family.
Sandra was born on February 13, 1947, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Howard L. and Eleanor I. (Holden) Bowers. She attended Woodward School in Woodward, Iowa. Sandy enjoyed nature, listening to music, birds and watching cartoons. Sandra will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Sandra is survived by her siblings, Dixie (Lyle) Eschweiler, and Dianne Becker both of Independence, Iowa, Connie Otis of Lake Michigan, Ann (Rick) Kaiser, of LaPorte City, Iowa, Clare (Scott Johnson) Wilson of Muncie, Indiana, Rick Bowers of Independence, Dorothy (Terry) Scott of Williamsburg, Iowa, Sue (Ron) Bakeman of Interlochen, Michigan, Kim (Naidene) Bowers of Northport, Michigan, Darrell (Bobbi Jo) Bowers of Grawn, Michigan; and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Eleanor Bowers.
