Rowan Scott Jenkins, son of Daniel and Elizabeth Jenkins, was stillborn June 25, 2014, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Community of Christ, Hiawatha, conducted by Seventy Dave Loy. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his parents, Daniel and Elizabeth (Leonard) Jenkins of Cedar Rapids; maternal grandparents, Clarence Jr. (Bud) and Claire Leonard, all of Cedar Rapids; paternal grandparents, Robert and Wanda Jenkins of Atkins; maternal great-grandmother, Lee Davis of Lexington, Kentucky, and Cristle Leonard of Cedar Rapids; paternal great-grandparents, Lawrence and Jane Jenkins of Shellsburg, Iowa, and James and Donna Hamilton of Hiawatha; aunt, Amy (Cody) Samuelson of Cedar Rapids; and cousins, Madilyn and Sylas.
He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfathers, Lloyd R. Davis, and Clarence Leonard Sr.
A memorial fund has been established for Rowan.
