Rosemary Lemburg, 64, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center, following a courageous battle with cancer. Services: 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home by Rev. Mark Thomas. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at the funeral home. Burial: Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Lemburg; three daughters, Debra Gagnon of Cedar Rapids, Sandra Karkosh (Terry) of South Amana, and Bonnie Zimmerman (Rodney) of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren, Britny, Teressa, Avery, Spencer, Moriah, Clayton, Zachary and Abby; and a sister, Shirley Fite of Palasades, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Malcolm Anderson, Jr.
Rosemary was born March 31, 1940, the daughter of Malcolm and Mildred Anderson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On December 10, 1960, she was united in marriage to Robert H. Lemburg at the Justice of the Peace in Marion, Iowa. Rosemary was a hard working, loving wife and mother. She had many friends and also had a love for flowers and animals. Rosemary loved to fish, gamble and spend time with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Rosemary. Following the committal service, friends and family are welcome to join a gathering at the Lemburg residence.
