Rosella Marie "Rosie? Tann, 62, of 1203 Center Street N.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, April 12, 2007, in her home following a short battle with cancer. Services: 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 16, 2007, at First Lutheran Church, 1000 3rd Avenue S.E., Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Dr. Kay Slocum. The family will greet friends from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 520 Wilson Avenue S.W., Cedar Rapids. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jerry; son, Kevin Tann of Cedar Rapids and his son, David Tann of Ft. Dodge; and mother-in-law, Dora Adler of Fayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Steve Berglund and Johnny Berglund.
Rosie was born August 29, 1944, in Dayton, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Nelson) Berglund. She graduated from Boone High School in 1962. On February 16, 1967, she married Jerry Tann in Cedar Rapids. She worked for Cedarapids, Inc. for 38 years and the past 4 years for Worley Warehouse.
Rosie was a member of First Lutheran Church and was a part-time Mary Kay Cosmetics Sales Representative. She enjoyed shopping, working out, and spending time with her family.
In her times of need, Rosie deeply appreciated the help and assistance of so many people; a testimony to the lives she touched.
