Rose Louise Kladivo

Rose Louise Kladivo, 88, of Lisbon, Iowa, passed away, Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022, at St. Ludmila Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will begin one hour prior at the church. Burial will be held at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Rose was born December 18, 1933, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Anthony and Rose (Scolaro) Gallo. She grew up in Cedar Rapids and graduated from St. Wenceslaus. Rose was united in marriage on November 27, 1952, to Paul Kladivo. He was the love of her life. This union provided five children: Rosanne (Fred) Longeway, Joseph (Karen) Kladivo, Cindy (Andy), Cheryl (Kent Rolfe), and Doug (Diane) Kladivo. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Nicole Baker, Justin and Jared Kladivo, Tarin and Desiree Rex, and Bianca and Courtney Kladivo; and eleven great-grandchildren. Rose was known for her family gatherings, love of cooking, and sharing that was enjoyed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; daughter, Rosanne Longeway; grandson, Todd; great-granddaughter, Kinley, and siblings, Mike, Mary Grace and Anna.
