Ronald John Kenne, 64, of Central City, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his home. Services: 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 3, 2010 at United Church of Christ in Central City by Rev. Mark Woldruff. Family will greet friends from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday at the church. Burial: Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City. Military Honors: Wapsi American Legion Post #421. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife Nancy; two daughters, Christine (Brian) Maloney of Alburnett, and Geline (John) St. John of Marion; two grandchildren, Connor and Courtney Maloney; his mother, Ione Kenne of Whittemore; a brother, Roger Kenne of Whittemore; a sister, Janice (Gary) Dvoracek of Holmen, WI; four nieces, Susan Bork, Amy Dvoracek, Kim (Jay) Anderson, and Sara Dvoracek; great-nephew, Liam Anderson; and aunts and uncles.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father.

Ronald was born April 4, 1946 in Pensacola, Florida, the son of Raymond and Ione (Nelson) Kenne. Ronald was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. He earned his B.A. from the Minneapolis School of Fine Art. On November 30, 1968, Ronald was united in marriage to Nancy Bork in Whittemore. He worked as a graphic artist for 18 years at Stamats and 19 years at Cedar Graphics. Ronald was a member of the American Rose Society, Linn County Rose Society and Seed Savers. His hobbies included stained glass, gardening, and woodworking.
