Ronald Hepker, 59, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday May 22, 2012, at home. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday May 26, 2012, at Center Point United Methodist Church, Center Point, by Rev. Mike Ellson. Friends may call for 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Inurnment: Center Point Cemetery. Military honors by the Center Point American Legion. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point.
Survivors include his mother, Lois; sister, Connie (Vern Silver) Gerhold of Central City, brother Steve (Tona) Hepker of Cedar Rapids, and four nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, David Hepker.
Ronald was born February 28, 1953, in Vinton, Iowa, the son of Lyle and Lois Scott (Rowe) Hepker. He graduated from Center Point and served in the United States Navy during Vietnam from 1971-1975. Ronald worked as a painter, he also enjoyed NASCAR and the New England Patriots.
