Rona Rae Price

Rona Rae Price, 63, of Central City, Iowa, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A Celebration of Life is planned from 1 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Wapsi Post 421 American Legion, located at 6 Central City Road in Central City, Iowa. Inurnment will be held at Mt. Clark Cemetery. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Central City is assisting the family with arrangements.
Rona was born on April 13, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Keith R. and Vivian Y. (Silver) Price. She owned and operated the Golden Comb in Central City, retiring in 2019. She worked as a housekeeper and bartender for the American Legion in Central City, FB and Company in Waubeek, and at Gilligan’s Pub in Cedar Rapids. Rona will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rona is survived and lovingly remembered by her two brothers, Bradley Price of Central City, and Darren Price of Robins, Iowa; an aunt, Phyllis Trzil of Alburnett, Iowa; three nephews, Dustin (Emily) Price of Cedar Rapids, Derick Price of Robins, and Dalton Price of Robins; four great-nieces and nephews, Daiton, Raelynn, Daceyn, and Ripp, with one on the way; and a friend, Jeff.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
