Robert “Donnie” Woodward, 75, of Prairieburg, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Walker Prairiemoon Bar and Grill in Prairieburg. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairieburg. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Survivors include his daughter, Lori Woodward (Dave Weston); and two sons, Scott (Christina) Woodward, and Stephen (Angela) Woodward; 7 grandchildren, Danielle (Walter) Wilson, Rachel (Josh) Weston, Ashley Wyant, Jordan Wyant, Kassandra Woodward, Damien Woodward, Dalton Woodward, and Miranda Gardner; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joanie (Roger) Opfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife.
Donnie was born April 11, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Robert and Mabel (Devlin) Woodward. He married Linda Bello on August 9, 1986, in Prairieburg.
