Robert F. "Bob? Yuva, 76, of 1440 Northview Drive, died Wednesday, September 25, 2002, at St. Luke?s Hospital, following a sudden illness. There will be no services or visitation. As per Bob?s wishes, his body has been cremated. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Phyllis; seven children, Gary (Nancy) Yuva of Chandler, Arizona, Penny (Jerry) Huggins of Hiawatha, Julianne Yuva of Marion, Tom (Chris) Yuva of Dublin, Ohio, Jackie (Jeff) Robertson of Raleigh, North Carolina, James (Pat) Yuva of Bloomington, Minnesota and Lisa (Rich) Paylor of Houston, Texas; twelve grandchildren, John (Margie) Yuva, Eric and Beth Yuva, Jerry (Lisa) Huggins, Sheri (Greg) Wolfe, Jeff (Amy) Huggins, Jeff and Jenny Yuva, Christopher, Terri and Kyle Robertson and Brandy (Eric) Baker; and six great-grandchildren, Holly Huggins, Tim and Justin Wolfe, Aryn and Sydney Baker; and Tori Huggins.
Robert was born October 7, 1925 in Iowa City, Iowa. He served with the U.S. Army in the Phillipines during WWII. On September 5, 1947, he married Phyllis Lockey in Waterloo. Bob worked for the Milwaukee Railroad for forty years as a brakeman and conductor.
Bob was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
