Rita E. Mulholland, 55, of 932 38th Street S.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, January 20, 2008, in her home following a long illness. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2008, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call on Thursday, from 9:30 ?" 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home prior to the service.
Survivors include her husband, Michael; children, Robert Seifert and Michelle Wilson both of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Zach Wilson, Austin Denison, Jacquelynn Denison and Emma Seifert; brother, David (Dixie) Mitchell of Marion; sister, Linda Huisman of Reinbeck; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Larry Darling.
Rita was born March 29, 1952, in Eldora, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Darling and Phyllis (Mitchell) Yancey. She was united in marriage to Michael Mulholland on May 12, 1979, in Marshalltown, Iowa.
