Richard Heaton, 63, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at St. Luke’s Hospital. There will be no services.
Survivors include his son Alex Heaton (Melinda Sue Mally) of Cedar Rapids; and three grandchildren, Tabatha Mally, Isiah Mally, and Dante Yeisley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Ildia Heaton.
Richard was born October 31, 1947, the son of Richard & Ildia Heaton. He worked as a machinist at Reliable Machine.
Richard enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He was a hard working family man that never let his family go without. Richard was a good dad and a workaholic.
Richard had a giant heart and one wicked vocabulary.
