Richard James Alberts

Richard “Rich” Alberts, 54, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on November 28, 2015, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include his mother, Sue (Jerry) Reifenstahl; sisters, Tami (Scott) Fiala and Misti Pearson; and one niece and three nephews.
Richard was born on December 16, 1960, son of Richard Lee and Barbara (Blahnik) Alberts. He lived on an acreage in Atkins, later Palo, and then moved to Cedar Rapids. He loved his dogs and restoring his ‘68 Camaro.
