Reynaldo L. Thompson, 90, a resident of Linn Manor Care, formerly of Center Point, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at the care center following lingering illness. Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 16, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, by Rev. David Siler. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, July 15, 2004, at the funeral home. Burial: Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.
Survivors include his children, Reynaldo Thompson Jr. and wife Judy of Hanover Park, Illinois, Douglas Thompson and wife Rita of Coggon, Connie Washburn and husband Don of Center Point and Gary Thompson and wife Deb of Center Point; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Lorraine Rineck of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and Geraldine DeLong of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; a brother, Gerald Lloyd Thompson of Brooksville, Florida; and a son-in-law, John Potaczek and wife Theresa of Bloomer, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Carol; a brother, Mencel and a granddaughter, Lori.
Reynaldo was born November 28, 1913, the son of Leslie Eugene and Julie Marie (Severson) Thompson in White Hall, Wisconsin. He farmed for many years in the Gilman, Wisconsin area. Reynaldo was a member of the Moose Lodge.
