Regina Krklec (Janis)
February 5, 1922 — October 16, 2006
Regina (Haidin) Krklec, 84 of Manor Care Health Services, Cedar Rapids, died there Monday, October 16, 2006, following a lengthy illness. Services: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday October 18, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids by the Rev. Joe Gerst. The family will greet friends from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at the funeral home. Burial: Campbell Cemetery, Bertram Township.
Survivors include her son, Slatko Haidin and daughter-in-law, Diane Haidin of Cedar Rapids; daughter-in-law, Heidi Haidin; granddaughters, Holly (Ty) Wolverton, Hope (Oscar) O?Bannon and Fatima Haidin; grandson, Nick (Cassie) Haidin; and great-grandchildren, Hanan Arafat, Wajeeh Arafat, Shayla O?Bannon, Failyn O?Bannon, Neva Haidin and Malika Haidin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Saban Haidin and later Anton Krklec; and son, Henry.
Regina was born February 2, 1922, in Yugoslavia, the daughter of Joseph and Johanna Janis. In 1951 she moved to the U.S. For 24 years she worked for Wilson and Company Packing Plant.
