Rebecca Susan Hudson Beard, 64, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died December 3, 2016 at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Celebration of Life: 5 – 8 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2016, at The Hy-Vee Hall on Wilson Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Rebecca was born November 12, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Stoffs) Hudson. She graduated from Prairie High School and was a medical technician at the Abbe Center until she retired in 2014.
Rebecca is survived by her children, Dominick Hudson of Des Moines, Iowa, Tasha Beard of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Robert S. (Bonnie) Hudson of Cedar Rapids, and Larry Hudson of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dominick II Hudson, Dominique Beard, Adam Burkhart, Damien Haase, Joseph Hudson and Dantae Haase; and a nephew, Robbie Hudson of Waterloo.
