Ray Menuis, 55, of Springville passed away suddenly Friday, September 15, 2017, at his home. Visitation: 4 – 7 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at the funeral home officiated by Reverend Richard Denniston. Burial: Springville Cemetery, Springville.
Ray is survived by his father, John Menuis of Springville; and his mother, Hazel (David) Countryman of Monticello.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Duaine and Tim.
Ray was born May 12, 1962, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of John and Hazel (Denniston) Menuis. He owned Excel Painting Company in Springville. Ray took great pride in his painting and providing quality service to his many customers. He was also a huge fan of the NBA.
