Randy Rude, 54, of Earlville died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m.., Monday, June 28, 2010 at United Parish in Earlville by Rev. Dr. Jean Rabary. Family will greet friends from 12:30 pm - 2:00 p.m., Monday prior to the services at the church. Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of the arrangements.
Randy was born June 1, 1956 in Decorah, the son of Harry and Arlene (Engen). On September 19, 1975, Randy was united in marriage to Jan Rae Gruel at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Dubuque. Randy was employed by Henderson Manufacturing as a brake press operator for over 20 years.
Randy enjoyed deer hunting, golfing, bowling, and watching the Cubs, Vikings and Hawkeye’s.
Randy is survived by his wife, Jan Rude of Earlville; two children, Cory (Beth Ernzen) Rude and Christopher (Liz) Rude; his mother, Arlene Rude; a brother, Daryl Rude; a sister, Becky (Mark) Kainz; a father-in-law- Bob Gruel; two sisters-in-law, Kara Kay (Jim) Birren, Teri Jo (Mark) Ford; a brother-in-law, Guy Gruel; and several nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Harry Rude; a brother, Mark Rude; a sister Connie Rude; and mothers-in-law, Mary Anthony Gruel and Lois Gruel.
