Rand Elliott Liabo, 55, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on June 16, 2011, at his home in Naples, Florida.
Rand was born in Cedar Rapids and attended Washington High School where he played basketball. Rand’s favorite activities were spending time with his family coaching youth basketball, and watching his sons play. He had a passion for talking to and getting to know people. Rand was very proud of his four children. They love their dad and he will be deeply missed.
Rand is survived by his children, Tom (Katie) Liabo of Naperville and their sons Alex and Jack, Illinois; Erin Liabo, of New York, New York; Chad Liabo and Michael Liabo of Naples, Florida; mother, Doris Liabo of Naples, Florida; brother, Mark(Corenne) Liabo of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and their children Jeremy Liabo, Erica Liabo-Vanderpol and Miriam Liabo.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 25, 2007, at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd. Naples, FL 34109, (239) 592-1611.
Burial will be at Center Point Cemetery at a date to be selected.
