Ralph Leo Graham
February 10, 1930 — June 2, 2003
Ralph L. Graham, 73, of Manchester died Monday morning, June 2, 2003, at home following an extended illness. Services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester with the Rev. Kurt Pasko officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday evening, June 3, 2003 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Oak Dale Cemetery in Parkersburg, Iowa, at a later date.
Ralph was born February 10, 1930, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Stanley & Marion (Billman) Graham. Ralph was baptized into the Lutheran faith at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Parkersburg, IA. He received his education in the Parkersburg Community School. On August 11, 1972, he was united in marriage to Shirley (Uhlenhopp) Olsen. Ralph worked for Meyer Trucking and for O?s Gold/Asgrow Seed Company, both in Parkersburg.
Ralph enjoyed camping, fishing, watching the Chicago Cubs, talking on his CB radio and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Shirley Graham of Manchester, Iowa; a daughter Kristy (David) Schipper of Aplington, Iowa; a son Steven (Carla) Graham of Benson Arizona; two step-children Jo Benson-Vorwald of Delhi, Iowa, and Jay Olsen of Storm Lake, Iowa; four grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren;one great-grandchild; two brothers, Elmer Graham and Eugene Graham both of Parkersburg and one sister Beth (Jim) Scourick of Aplington.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley & Marion Graham; one sister, Marlys Schneiderman; and his twin brother, Richard Graham.
