R. Pearl Johnson, 97, of Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids, formerly of Center Point, died Sunday, January 4, 2004, at the care center, following a short illness. Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, by the Rev. Mike Ellson. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2004, at the funeral home. Burial: Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and five brothers.
Pearl was born March 25, 1906, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Stebbins Johnson, in Center Point, Iowa. A longtime resident of Center Point, she was a homemaker and also worked at the Locker Plant in Center Point.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews.
