Survivors include his wife, Barbara Anne Harger of Germantown, Maryland; his son, Matthew Harger of Germantown, Maryland; his brothers, Gary of Nevada and Darrell of Cedar Rapids; and his mother-in-law, Mary Oxley of Clive.
