Prince Gipson, 42, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Mt. Zion Mission Baptist Church, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Damian Epps. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Prince was born on April 23, 1974, in Lexington, Mississippi, son of Prince and Rosie Gipson. He was baptized at Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Lexington, Mississippi and graduated from J.J. McClain High School in Lexington, Mississippi. He worked for CSG/Clear Results.
Survivors include his parents, Prince and Rosie Gipson of Lexington, Mississippi; children, Tevin Mull, Tamara Mull, Makayla and Makye Shireman, Desirae Pruisamann, Danielle Pruisamann; significant other, April Shireman; brothers, Michael (Susie) Gipson, Kelvin (Latonya) Gipson of Lexington, Mississippi, John Eubanks of California and Jeffery Eubanks of Sallis, Mississippi; grandfather, Ezell Eubanks of Sallis, Mississippi; aunts, Mashelle (Lester) Powell of West, Mississippi, Dorothy Eubanks and Dora Eubanks of Sallis, Mississippi; one uncle, Clyde Eubanks of Sallis, Mississippi ; and special friends, Precious and Della Mull, Kevin Armstrong, Charles Stevens, John Richmond and George Steven, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his one sister, Sandra Gipson Montgomery; grandparents, Nell Eubanks, Ethel Gipson and Jessie Gipson.
