Phyllis M. Uldrich, 74, of Earlville, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2021, surrounded by her family at her home in Earlville. Visitation for Phyllis will be held, Sunday, June, 27, 2021, 3 to 7 p.m. at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Earlville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2021, St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Dennis Quint officiating. Burial is at Fairview Cemetery, Earlville. Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Earlville, is assisting the family.
Phyllis was born November 21, 1946 in Carrollton, Illinois, the daughter of Francis and Mary (Becker) Rawe. She graduated from High School, in 1964, in Carrollton. Phyllis married Jules Uldrich on September 20, 1969, in Carrollton, Illinois; 5 children were born into this union of marriage. The couple moved to Iowa and settled in Earlville in 1975. She worked many years as a Home Health Aide, retiring in 2014. Phyllis was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Earlville. She enjoyed spending her time traveling, going to parks, fishing, and loved Calhoun County peaches. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jules Uldrich of Earlville; children, Wesley Uldrich of Edgewood, Iowa, Sarah (Todd) Lewin of Independence, Iowa, Monica (Jason) Mitts of Maquoketa, Iowa, Andrea Hucker of Hopkinton, Iowa, Carmen Uldrich (Chase Forkenbrock) of Edgewood, Iowa; 13 grandchildren, Sean, Reid, Samuel, Jessica, Autumn, Nadiah, Addison, Kallyn, Lucy, Ty, Donavon, Royce and Griffin; siblings, Kathleen (Ted) Thien Greenfield, Illinois, Denis (Laura) Rawe of Palmyra, Nebraska, Kenneth Rawe of Carrollton, Martin Rawe of Granite City, Illinois Marilyn ( Tom) Misco of Libertyville, Illinois, Steve (Jean) Rawe of Clarkston, Michigan, Yvonne (Mike) Ralph of Chatham, Illinois and Carmael (Scott) Settles of Rochester, Illinois; niece, Lois Zach of Wilber, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Mary Rawe; son-in-law, Chris Hucker; grandson, Andrew Christopher Hucker; and nephew Frank Zach.
