Phyllis Ann (Beach) Schindler, 80, of Marion, died Tuesday, January 24, 2011, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2011, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Marion. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services Friday at the church. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Milver; children, Bill Schindler and John (Andrea) Schindler; 4 grandchildren, Dylan, Derek, Bailey, and Dalton; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the grandparents who raised her, Mr. and Mrs. William Reep; and a sister, Mary Jane Rose.
Phyllis was born February 14, 1930 in Linn County. She married Milver Charles Schindler in May, 1949. Phyllis was a people person who enjoyed knitting, traveling, and wintering in Texas.
