Phyllis A. Randall (Tucker)

Phyllis A. Randall, 76, of Vinton, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, September 8, 2006. Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Linda Livingston. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Judy (Terry) Bieber of Pasadena, Texas, Lloyd (Sandy) Henderson, Jr. of Marion, Rebecca (Robert) Coleman of Lisbon, Robert (Melody) Henderson of Cedar Rapids, Ruby Cayler of Littleton, Colorado and Vickie Henderson of Cedar Rapids; four step-children, Steven (Shirley) Randall of Florida, Penny Warner of Illinois, Delores Randall of Vinton and Cindy (Roland) Burns of Cedar Rapids; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Lee O. Tucker, Jr.; and a sister, Edna Ruth Harris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; a daughter, Linda Slight; three brothers, Dean, Earl, and Tom; a sister, Mary; and a son-in-law, Gaylen Cayler.
Phyllis was born January 12, 1930, the daughter of Lee O. and Linden Garnet Ruth (Hall) Tucker, Sr. She married Larry A. Randall October 13, 1982. He died September 2, 2006. Phyllis worked for over twenty-five years at Crestview Acres. She enjoyed knitting, the outdoors, puzzles, watching birds, and especially traveling to see her children.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in memory of Phyllis.
