Peggy Lou Timms

Peggy Lou Timms, 70, of Gold Canyon, Arizona, formerly of Springville, Iowa, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018, in Gilbert, Arizona. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018, at Lafayette, Cemetery in rural Alburnett, Iowa. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
Peggy was born July 1, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Chester Harvey and LaVon (Potter) Timms. She graduated from Springville High School and went on to attend the University of Arizona. Upon graduating from the University, she worked as a paralegal, working for Arnold Hirsch, Attorney at Law in Arizona. Peggy was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, Arizona Paralegal Association, Maricopa Bar Association, and the Association of Legal Assistance. Peggy enjoyed her travels to Iowa, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Peggy is survived by her brothers, Richard A. (Sharon) Timms of Central City, Iowa, and Harvey (Birute) Timms of Mentor, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and LaVon Timms; and three brothers, Larry McKee, Gary Matheny, and Alan Scott.
