Pearl Hart, 89, of Willow Gardens, went to be with our Lord Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, Iowa. Service: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with Reverend Tim Carter officiating. Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Pearl Mildred Hart was born March 23, 1925, in Centuria, Wisconsin, to her parents Earnest and Elsie (Schneewind) Eveland. She married Alva R. Hart on November 27, 1947, in Independence, Iowa.
She is survived by her children, Sherrel (Walter) Plank of Jadwin, Missouri, Carole (Gary) Anderson of West Burlington, Laurel (Peter) Nash of Burlington and Gerald (Christine) Hart of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Pearl was preceded by her husband, Alva; and her siblings, Effie Eveland, Robert Eveland and Mary Pfeffer.
