Pauline B. Strom, 94, a resident of Willow Gardens Care Center, died Sunday, June 20, 2004, at St. Luke?s Hospital, following a brief illness. Memorial Graveside Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2004, at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Adelson of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Susan (John) Niles and David (Phyllis) Adelson, both of Marion; and four great-grandchildren, Kevin Meeker and Sarah, Matthew and Audrey Adelson, all of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Pauline was born November 6, 1909, the daughter of Arthur and Jennie (Reeves) Bassett, in Little Sioux, Iowa. On December 18, 1931, she married Arnold Strom in South Sioux City, Nebraska. He died January 26, 1971. Pauline was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marion and a former member of the Eastern Star where she had served as an officer.
