Pauline Larue Stamy (Milburn)

Pauline LaRue Stamy, 78, of Norway, Iowa, died in the Colonial Manor Nursing Home, in Amana Saturday, April 21, 2007, following a lengthy illness. Private services will be held.
Survivors include her four children, Lisa and Gordon Peterson and their children, Hanna and Halle; David Stamy and his children, Chris, Jordan and Chelsea; Scott and Terri Stamy and their children, Celinda, Sydney and Richard; Steve and Patti Stamy and their children, Natalie, Amanda, Sophia and Vanessa; and a sister, Teddy Herrick of St. Louis, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents; and a sister, Virginia.
Pauline was born October 15, 1928, in Sedalia, Missouri, the daughter of Fred and Etta (Lodges) Milburn. She married Richard Stamy in Sedalia, Missouri. They made their home in Norway, Iowa for many years.
She was a member of the O.E.S., Norway, Iowa, and volunteered for many services. Pauline was devoted to her family and friends.
