Paula E. Wilhelm, 69, of 333 Norwick Road SW, Cedar Rapids, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2004, at Zion Lutheran Church by Rev. Daniel Krueger. Family will greet friends from 1-2 p.m., Friday, at the church. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a son, James W. Wilhelm and wife Jeri of Santa Ana, California; a daughter, Wanda A. Wilhelm of Cedar Rapids; and three sisters, Prudence Raymon of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Pamela Farle of Highland, California and Priscilla Glawe and husband Ron of Aurora, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank W. Peterson and Elaine A. Reeves, and two brothers-in-law, James Raymon and Ronald Farle.
Paula was born February 8, 1935, in Geneva, Nebraska. She was a homemaker who served the Lord with a happy heart.
