She graduated from Park High School in Livingston, Montana in 1972, then joined the Women’s Corp of the U.S. Army, where she served two years. While serving, she met and married Charles Brackett. The couple lived overseas and followed where he served. Charles retired from the military and the couple settled in Maine. Charles died in the early 1990’s. Paula moved to Ft. Paula was a glimmer of light and hope. She always had a smile around friends and believed in bringing confidence, happiness, and love. As the mother of 7 babies, she treated her dogs like children. She was a beloved friend to everyone she know. Paula touched many lives and will be missed.
