Paul Brouwer Brintnall, 37, of 345 Landau Street, Robins, Iowa, was killed in a single car accident on Wednesday, November 15, 2005, in Marion, Iowa. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday. Services will also be held in the Netherlands at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Shana; his mother, Riet den Hertogh, his father, Willem Brouwer, his brother, Gert Brouwer, his sister, Marjan de Leevw and her husband Win de Leevw, all of the Netherlands.
Paul was born May 21, 1968, in the Netherlands. He earned a B.S. degree in 1989 from the University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Paul worked for Andersen Consulting in the Netherlands from 1989 to 1994. He came to the United States to work for Deloitte Consulting in 1994. Paul became a project manager before taking a position as analyst and marketing lead for Watson Pharmaceuticals in 2003. In July 2004, he left Watson to become a senior business integration analyst with Rockwell-Collins in Hiawatha, Iowa.
In 1998 he married Shana Lee Brintnall of Cedar Falls, Iowa. They lived in Encinitas, California, until July 2004, and then moved to Robins, Iowa. Paul loved the ocean and was an experienced surfer. He enjoyed many outdoor activities?hiking, skiing, skate boarding and playing soccer. In the last year, Paul enjoyed visiting many parts of Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Paul?s memory.
