Patsy J. Rounds, 87, of Wellsburg formerly of Delhi, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Grundy County Memorial Hospital, Grundy, Iowa. Visitation for Patsy will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Delhi.
Patsy was born January 20, 1934, in Waterloo Iowa, the daughter of Victor and Eunice (McVicker) Grubb. She graduated from Waterloo West High School. Patsy married Wayne Rounds on August 2, 1953, in Waterloo; 5 children were born into this union. She was employed by F.W. Woolworth in Waterloo as a Store Remodeler. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casinos.
Patsy is survived by her children, Bruce (Sharon) Rounds of Clinton, Iowa, Michael (Penny) Rounds of Peterson, Iowa, Joyce Johansen of Wellsburg, Iowa, Connie Rounds (Ray Avis) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Vickie Hook of Manchester; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Eunice Grubb; husband, Wayne Rounds; sons-in-law, William Jones, Justin Hook and Gary Johansen; sisters, Garnet, Jean, Joanne; and brother, Robert.
