Patrick “Pat” Scott Richmond, 39, of Marion, Iowa formerly of Manchester, took his life at his home on Monday, March 24, 2008
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Manchester by Rev. Lorraine Hartman. Family will greet friends 5:00 ?" 8:00 pm, Friday, March 28, and one hour before services at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Campton Cemetery, Lamont.
Pat was born January 4, 1969 in Manchester, the son of Claude Charles, Sr. and Nancy Lee (Meader) Richmond. In 1988, he graduated from West Delaware High School in Manchester. Pat worked at Kwik Way, Square D, and most recently as a union electrician for Streff Electric, Inc. in Cedar Rapids.
Pat was active in sports in high school and played softball as an outfielder for local teams in Manchester and Ryan. He loved to fish, had a wonderful sense of humor, and always available to help friends and neighbors.
Pat is survived by his mother, Nancy L. Richmond of Cassville, Wisconsin, his former wife, Susan Richmond of Marion; two sons, Spencer Richmond and Seth Jensen, both of Marion, four brothers, Claude “Chuck” Richmond, Jr. of Cassville, WI, Brian L. Richmond of Norwalk, CT, Thomas D. Richmond, of W. Palm Beach, FL, Joseph V. Yates of Stanley, WI, and one sister, Roberta “Bert” Davis of Norwalk, CT.; three nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude, C. Richmond, Sr, and a brother, Jack L. Richmond.
