Patricia Vebsky

Patricia “Pat” Vebsky, 67, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, Iowa. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the family home at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids assisted the family.
Pat was born on April 16, 1954, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Clayton and LaVerna (Jones) Saathoff. She married George Vebsky on September 19, 1981. Pat worked at Altorfer CAT in Cedar Rapids for 43 years before her retirement in 2016. She truly loved her family and all her friends that were close to her.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, George Vebsky; sister, Rita (Roger) Peters; sister-in-law, Peggy (Randall) Newton of De Soto, Kansas; nieces and nephews, Rachel Peters (Peter James), Russell (Jill) Peters, Susan (Corey) Mohn, Heather Newton, and Ryan Newton; many great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Cissy.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Clayton and LaVerna Saathoff.
