Patricia S. Fry, 74, of 4501 33rd Avenue S.W., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, October 18, 2007, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. Services: 12:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2007, at Asbury United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Ed Powers. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2007, at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Ivan; children, Vicky (Dennis) Pollock, Jerry (Ann) Fry and Peggy McArtor (Neal) Johnson; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Vivian Miller; and brother, Eugene Nicola.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Katy Louise; and sister, Marilyn Randall.
Pat was born March 26, 1933, in Wayland, Iowa, the daughter of Lester and Freda (Zear) Nicola. On September 27, 1953, she married Ivan Fry. She worked at Martin's and Killian's and was a beautician and owner of "La Vogue".
A memorial fund has been established in Pat's memory.
