Patricia A. McNabb, 83, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Monday, November 23, 2009. Services: 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 27, 2009, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. Graveside Service: 2:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Deanna) McNabb; son-in-law, Don Waln; daughters, Shelly (Wayne) Baker and Carole (Dave) Thomas; sons, Bill (Wanita) McNabb and Rick McNabb; ten grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; infant daughter, Linda Joan and daughter, Theresa; and brother, James Baldwin
Born December 28, 1925, in Iowa City, Iowa, Patricia was the daughter of Ralph and Wilhemina (Pohlmann) Baldwin. On June 29, 1945, she was united in marriage to Robert McNabb in Iowa City. He died October 20, 1990. She worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Robson and Dr. Flynn for many years.
Patricia enjoyed her family and life. She worked in St. Ludmila’s church office, and was very active with all her children. Patricia also enjoyed mall walking at Westdale Mall.
