Patricia B. McArtor, 70, our Mother, went home to be with Jesus on March 15, 2006. Services: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2006, at Noelridge Park Church, 1147 Clifton St. NE, Cedar Rapids by Rev. Kermit Jelmeland and Rev. Richard Marsceau. The family will greet friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
She will be missed by her son, Gary (Connie) Lathrop; two daughters, Gaylene (Jamie) Maage and Kimberly (Duane) Frett; a step-son, Ronald (Susan) McArtor; a special nephew, Tim Sacora; a loving caretaker, Maury Keeley; her grandchildren, Angela, Jeremy, Abbie, Phoebe, Michael, Jason, Kyle and Katrina; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Carver.
She was a member of Noelridge Baptist Church and a dedicated Sunday School teacher. Mom was caring, loving, selfless, genuine and always put others ahead of herself. She was happiest when she was with her family and especially her grandchildren. Our Mom was a true angel on earth. We love you, Mom.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Noelridge Church or Hospice of Mercy.
