Patricia Ann Kirst

Patricia Ann Kirst, 84, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Patricia was born on January 16, 1940, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Charles Sr. and Avis (Fountain) Hill. On October 1, 1965, Patricia was united in marriage to Gordon Kirst Jr. in San Diego, California. She worked as a service representative for Pacific Bell for over 20 years, before her retirement. Patricia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Patricia is survived and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Kara Cash of New York, New York, and Kristin Kirst of Florida; grandchildren, Liam, Lily, Fransesc, and Gordon; and a host of other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon Kirst Jr.; sister, Doris Hill; and brothers, Charles and Lawrence Hill.
