Patricia K. Boardman, 56, of Arlington, died Monday, August 15, 2005 at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 18 at the Manchester United Methodist Church by Rev. Roger Henry and Rev. Raymond Doser. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester and one hour before services Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Patricia was born May 10, 1949, the daughter of Walter E. and Amber L. (Wilson) Salow in Dubuque. She graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School in 1967. On September 19, 1969 Patricia was united in marriage to Larry D. Boardman in Galena, IL. The couple lived in Delhi from 1969-1971, Manchester from 1971-1976 and in Arlington since 1976. Patricia drove truck for last twenty years for Tom & Dee Ritter and CRST.
Patricia was a member of the Arlington Methodist Church. She collected porcelain dolls and Greatest Stories Ever Told figurines. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, friends and family.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Larry Boardman of Arlington; four children, Ronnie (Joan) Boardman of Arlington, Tracy Boardman-Knibbe (Steve) of Irving, TX, Lynne (Terry) Winch of Garber and Pamela (Tom) Winch of Guttenberg; ten grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Dustin, Jennifer, Austin, Derek, Kara Kay, Tyler, Emily and Connor; three brothers, Doran Salow of Vaccaville, CA, Mark (Kathy) Salow of Earlville, Scott (Sherri) Salow of Delhi; and one sister, Wendy (Al) Kruse of Greeley.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Amber Salow; a grandson, Jeffrey Dean "J.D.?; and one sister, Christine Meader.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Patricia?s name.
