Pamela Sue Jones, 54, of 363 26th Avenue S.W., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, January 25, 2009, in her home as a result of a house fire. Services: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 29, 2009, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Ed Powers. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Marion; sons, Marion Jones, III of Cedar Rapids and Timothy Jones of Peoria, Illinois; daughters, Angela Johnson of Iowa City, Rosie Jones and Sara Sue Jones; many grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father.
Pamela was born September 17, 1954, in Mariemont, Ohio. In 1978, she was united in marriage to Marion Jones in Rock Island, Illinois.
Pamela loved teddy bears, angels, flags and Elvis collectibles.
A memorial fund has been established in Pamela’s memory.
