Pamela L. Kirby Chesmore, 68, of Urbana, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, after a long and courageous battle, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.

Pam was born March 1, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Blanche (Fleming) Fuller. She married Butch Chesmore on September 5, 2002, in Cedar Rapids. Pam was an etching artist at Rockwell Collins until she retired in 2005. She enjoyed mushrooming, the outdoors, gardening, gambling and playing cards. Pam loved spending time with her family and being surrounded by the people who loved her.

Pam is survived by her husband, Butch; children, Kathleen (Shannon) Yeisley of Anamosa, Mary (Tom) Weber of Center Point, Stephanie Ramirez of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Ed (Sheila) Kirby of Anamosa; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Marla Henderson of Rowley, Ray (Pat) Fuller of Cedar Rapids, Bill Fuller of Marion, Liz (Ron) Forde of Toledo, and Judy (Duane) Leek of Toledo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Ed Kirby; brother, Harry Fuller; sister, Edith Adamson; and a grandson, Brandon Bickel.

A memorial fund has been established in Pam’s memory..
