Pamela K. Brutsman, 52, of 329 West 8th Ave., Marion, died Sunday, November 4, 2007, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion by the Rev. Douglas MacLeod. The family will greet friends from 4 ?" 8 p.m. Friday. Burial: Pineview Cemetery in Delaware, Iowa.
Survivors include her husband, Bob; her children, Jenny (Mike) Bilderback of Memphis, Tennessee, Tim Brutsman of Marion, Sarah Brutsman of Memphis, Tennessee, and Anthony Brutsman of Marion; a grandson, Tristan Brutsman of Marion; and two sisters, Doris Taylor of Anamosa and Donna (John) Clark of Baldwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bill Scott; and three sisters, JoAnn Topping, Judy Scott and Leota Risden.
Pamela was born January 28, 1955, the daughter of Harold R. and Doris (Stickley) Scott in Maquoketa, Iowa. She married Robert “Bob” Brutsman on May 18, 1975, in Alburnett, Iowa. Pamela was employed at Rockwell-Collins in Cedar Rapids and was a member of Peace Christian Reformed Church in Cedar Rapids.
Pamela’s family was foremost in her life. She will be greatly missed.
