Ora M. Dlask
February 14, 1910 — September 12, 2003
Ora M. Dlask, a resident of Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion, formerly of Center Point, died Friday, September 12, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2003, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Center Point by Rev. Mike Ellson. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial: Center Point Cemetery.
Survivors include her grandsons, John Michael (Carleen) Dlask of Holt, Michigan and Mark (Sheryl) Dlask of Olin; three great grandchildren, Charles (Jamie) Dlask of Tipton, Shannon (Aaron) Fell of Lansing, Michigan and Kelly Dlask of Perry, Michigan; a great-great-granddaughter, Xaryan; and a great-great-grandson, Alexandyr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, John Dlask, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law, Beulah.
Ora was born February 14, 1910, the daughter of John and Ida (Heiden) DeSeve in Palo. On September 1, 1928, she married John Louis Dlask. He died February 15, 1976. Ora was a member of the Eagles Club, enjoyed traveling, dancing, bingo, camping, fishing and being with her family.
Ora leaves a host of family and friends and will be greatly missed.
A memorial fund has been established in Ora?s memory.
