Norma E. Szymanski, 87, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Friday, October 11, 2013, at Silver Pines, Cedar Rapids. Services: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her sisters, step-daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sisters.
Norma was born on December 13, 1925, in Minnesota, daughter of Roy and Rose (Flattum) Brown. She married Frank Szymanski in 1960.
