Norma J. Lowe, 78, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 6, 2013, at Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House, Hiawatha. Services: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Greg Campbell. Family will greet friends from 12 until service time. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Greg (Barbara) Campbell of Mount Vernon, Missouri, and Tina Campbell of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Kevin, Alysia, Mathew, Alex, Emily, Lydia, Joshua, Nicholas, Gregory and Sydney; and great grandchildren, Grant and Emma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Helen (Barr) Gregory; husband, Galen Lowe; daughter, Cindy Thumma; and brother, Robert Gregory.
Norma was born on December 7, 1934, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Kenneth and Helen Gregory. Norma will be remembered for her spirited nature, her love for animals and her genuine faith in God. She also enjoyed music, swimming and travel.
A memorial fund has been established.
