Norma Theresa Icarangal
March 3, 1967 — July 5, 2024
Norma Theresa Icarangal, 57, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Norma has returned home to Fairfield, California to rest with her parents, grandmother and aunt. Memorial Services will be held in the Bay Area later this summer. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Norma was born on March 3, 1967, in Seoul, South Korea, the daughter of Ceferino Icarangal and Theresa Om. After graduating from Yokota High School, she went on to attend UC Berkeley in California. Norma worked a variety of jobs in the insurance and billing industry but spent her last several years doing dental office work. She enjoyed traveling, going shopping, baking various dishes, but above all else, was extremely kind to all. She was affectionately known as “Auntie Norma” to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Norma is survived and lovingly remembered by her sister, Lily Icarangal; niece, Alyssa; and nephew, Devin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and aunt, Monica Om.
